After applying for a job through the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor in Bangkok, I returned to my hometown in Sakon Nakhon. One rainy day, I received a call from an unfamiliar overseas number. The caller spoke Thai with a Japanese accent and wanted to schedule a job interview, but the details weren’t clear due to poor phone reception. After that, I lost contact and didn’t think much of it. I wasn’t ready to start working yet and just wanted to enjoy my youth.
Later, a friend told me that Tohoku Company had been trying to contact me for an interview in Si Racha, Chonburi but couldn’t reach me. Once I found out, I went for the interview and eventually started working at Tohoku Company. What impressed me most was how the company made the effort to reach me. And once I joined, I’ve done my best not to let them down by developing people, creating quality work, reducing costs, and increasing profits so the organization could continue to grow.
